Cleaning and Sick Policies

Products:

• We use Hydrogen Peroxide cleaner. This kills most bacteria and viruses (coronaviruses, cold and flu, hand foot and mouth, staph, etc.) in 30 seconds and completed disinfects in 3 minutes.

• We occasionally use Seventh Generation or Clorox/Lysol/Generic Brand disinfecting wipes.

• Bathrooms are bleached daily.

• Floors are steam mopped daily.

• Music instruments are cleaned with clorox/lysol wipes between and after each session.

Cleaning Procedures:

• A big red bucket at our back washing station is set up for parents to place items their child has put in their mouth. We ask that parents be diligent in this. No toys return to the play area without being disinfected again.

• Throughout the day you will see us continuously wiping down and sanitizing toys each time they are put away. We use Hydrogen Peroxide which is not irritating to the lungs and safe to touch.

• Toys are either rotated out and put away for cleaning or are wiped down or dunked in solution. Cloth toys are sprayed with a hydrogen peroxide cleaner and set aside to dry while new ones are rotated in. These items are also washed on a sanitation cycle regularly.

• Furniture is wiped or lightly sprayed with hydrogen peroxide cleaner.

Additional Illness Procedures:

Hand sanitizer is on the wall at the opening to the play area for everyone to use before entering to play. You are always welcome to wash hands at our back sink if you prefer soap and water.

Sick Policy

Children or adults who are visibly or audibly (repeatedly coughing, yellow/green snot, etc) ill are not permitted to enter the facility. If you have had any signs of illness in the previous 48 hours, please do not enter the facility.

Please do not come to play while you are in a recommended quarantine period from COVID exposure.

We are not doctors and are not able to differentiate between different communicable illnesses, allergies, and localized infections. Please visit us when you are feeling better.
